This Exhibition Sales Manager role is working on a large scale, international exhibition serving the travel industry. The main focus of the role is to generate revenue from the sale of exhibition stands and sponsorship opportunities, but you will also sell advertising solutions, and be given the opportunity to develop new revenue streams.
The Exhibition Sales Manager is responsible for planning and implementing a sales strategy to attract exhibitors to the event. You will be selling to clients over the phone and face to face so we are looking for someone who is able to do both.
The exhibition requires a consultative sell so it is important that the Exhibition Sales Manager is able to uncover needs effectively and take a solutions based approach when pitching to clients. As well as selling, the Exhibition Sales Manager will support forecasting and reporting, tracking sales against targets and monitoring activity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of selling exhibition stands on a large scale exhibition, and be able to balance the need to grow a territory with hunting for new business. We are looking for an articulate and consultative sales professional with good time management skills, a strong work ethic and integrity.
