The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6 months experience selling a b2b marketing solution, either media/advertising sales, sponsorship or exhibition sales. They will also be very driven and ambitious – this is a role where you determine how successful you are. Personality wise, you will need to be outgoing – this is a very social team.
As an Events and Conference Sales Executive you will have a very consultative sales style, and understand how to bring in new business. This company has an excellent reputation, with their clients returning year in to attend their conferences. As such, a large part of the role will be to build relationships with the current clients, effectively managing these accounts and growing them. You will also need to speak with new clients, in a very consultative way. While you will spend a lot of time on the phone speaking to clients, you will also get to dabble in the logistics side of the conferences, and attend the events as well. You will need to think on your feet, and genuinely want to build relationships and engage with your clients.
